Help
- Click thumbnails to tick the pages to keep; Shift + click ticks a whole series. Typing “1-3, 5, 8-” (“8-” = to the end) does the same and stays in sync with the ticks.
- By default, pages come out in document order. If you type “5, 1-3”, tick “Keep the order I typed” to get 5, 1, 2, 3.
- Your original file is never modified: the result is a new PDF, with no recompression (text, images and fonts stay intact).
- Bookmarks, internal cross-references and form fields from the original are not carried into the extract; web links are kept.
- A password-protected PDF must be unlocked first. Maximum size: 100 MB.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Extraction runs in your browser, on your device's processor: the document is never uploaded, stored or analyzed.
How is this different from “Delete pages” and “Split PDF”?
“Extract” keeps only the chosen pages in one new PDF. “Delete” does the opposite: you tick what you don't want. “Split” produces several files.
Can I extract in another order or repeat a page?
For the order, yes: type for instance “5, 1-3” and tick “Keep the order I typed”. A page appears once per extraction; to duplicate it, extract it again and join the files with “Merge PDF”.
