Case, cleanup & formatting
Remove Duplicate Lines
Remove duplicates from a list of lines, keeping the original order, with options for case, spaces and sorting.
How to use this tool
- 1
Paste your list, one entry per line.
- 2
Set case, spaces, mode and sorting if needed.
- 3
Copy or download the list without duplicates; read the counters to see how many lines were removed.
Help
- Paste a list (emails, keywords, addresses, names…): every line identical to an earlier one is removed, and the first occurrence stays in place.
- By default extra spaces are ignored (“a b” and “a b” are the same) and empty lines are removed; case matters, untick the option so “Abc” and “abc” count as a duplicate.
- Three modes: keep each line once, keep only lines that appear a single time, or extract only the lines that are repeated.
- The table at the bottom shows which lines are repeated and how many times; A → Z sorting is numeric (“9” before “10”).

Frequently asked questions
Is the order of my list kept?
Yes, as long as sorting is set to “Original order”: the first occurrence of each line keeps its position. You can also keep the last occurrence or sort the result.
Can I process a very long list?
Yes: hundreds of thousands of lines are processed in a few seconds in your browser, with nothing sent to a server.
How do I keep only lines that appear once?
Choose “Unique lines only”: every line that has a duplicate, including its first occurrence, disappears from the result.
