Crop Image

Help: Crop Image

  • Move the frame by dragging it, resize it with its handles (on touch screens they have a 44 px target); the keyboard arrows move it pixel by pixel.
  • Preset ratios: free, original, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 21:9, 5:4, 3:4, 2:3, 9:16 — the frame then keeps exactly that format.
  • Type X, Y, width and height in image pixels for a precise crop; zoom up to 400% to aim at a detail.
  • The orientation of phone photos is respected. Output format of your choice (same, JPG, PNG, WebP); images above 100 megapixels are refused.

Frequently asked questions

How do I crop to a square or to 16:9?

Choose 1:1 or 16:9 under “Frame ratio”: the frame takes that format and keeps it when you resize it.

Does cropping degrade the image?

No: the kept pixels are copied as is, without resizing. Only saving as JPG or WebP applies the usual adjustable compression.

Is my image sent anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
